1. Acceptance of Terms

By interacting with WiseCookie ("the Bot"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not interact with the Bot.

When you first message WiseCookie or mention the Bot, you will be presented with a consent prompt. You must explicitly accept these terms before the Bot will process your messages.

2. Description of Service

WiseCookie is an AI-powered Discord bot that provides:

• AI Conversational Assistance — Chat with an AI that can answer questions, search the internet for current information, and analyze images.
• Automatic Moderation — AI-powered analysis of messages to detect and enforce server rule violations.
• Personalized Interactions — The Bot learns about you over time to provide more relevant responses.

3. User Conduct

When using WiseCookie, you agree to:

• Follow the server's rules as enforced by both human moderators and the Bot's auto-moderation system.
• Not attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the Bot's AI, moderation, or command systems.
• Not use the Bot to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
• Not spam or flood the Bot with excessive messages.
• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

4. Data Collection & Processing

By accepting these terms, you consent to the following data processing:

• Message content is stored temporarily in a sliding window for conversation context.
• AI-learned facts about you (interests, preferences) may be extracted and stored to personalize interactions.
• Messages are processed by Groq AI (Llama 4 Scout) for generating responses and moderation analysis. Groq does NOT use your data for AI training. Zero Data Retention is enabled.
• Search queries (not full messages) may be sent to DuckDuckGo when researching answers to your questions.
• Moderation records are stored when auto-moderation takes action.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all your data at any time using the /forgetme command. This permanently removes all messages, learned facts, moderation records, and persona settings associated with your account.
• Revoke consent at any time using the /tos command. Once revoked, the Bot will stop interacting with you until you re-accept.
• Clear conversation history in a specific channel using /clearmemory.
• Request data deletion by telling WiseCookie "forget about me" or "forget everything about me" in conversation.

6. Automatic Moderation

WiseCookie uses AI to automatically detect and enforce server rule violations. By using this server, you acknowledge that:

• Your messages may be analyzed by AI for potential rule violations.
• Automated actions (warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans) may be taken based on AI analysis.
• Auto-moderation decisions can be appealed to server staff, who can override or revoke actions.
• The AI is not perfect and false positives may occur. Server administrators can review and correct any mistakes.

7. AI Training Disclaimer

Your data is NOT used to train any AI models. In full compliance with Discord's Developer Policy, no message content obtained through Discord's APIs is used to train machine learning or AI models, by us or by our third-party AI provider (Groq).

8. Limitation of Liability

WiseCookie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Bot operators are not liable for:

• Incorrect or misleading AI responses.
• False positive moderation actions.
• Service interruptions or data loss.
• Any damages arising from the use of the Bot.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Discord and this Bot, in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service. This server does not approve of users under the age of 13.

10. Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
